She works with families through one-on-one consultations and group classes, both locally in Austin, TX and online. Her most popular topics of inquiry include how to track and support motor development, milestone concerns, extended crying, a non-cry-it-out approach to sleep, and healing birth trauma.

Jeff Chilton, raised in Pacific Northwest, studied ethno-mycology at the University of Washing-
ton in the late sixties. In 1973 he started work on a commercial mushroom farm in Olympia,
Washington. During the next 10 years he became the production manager, responsible for the
cultivation of over 2 million pounds of agaricus mushrooms per year. He was also involved in
the research and development of shiitake, oyster and enoki mushrooms which resulted in the
earliest US fresh shiitake sales in 1978.
In the late seventies he was a founder of Mycomedia, which held 4 mushroom conferences in
the Pacific Northwest. These educational conferences brought together educators and experts in
mushroom identification, ethnomycology, and mushroom cultivation. During this period Jeff co-
authored the highly acclaimed book, The Mushroom Cultivator, which was published in 1983.
In the 1980’s he operated a mushroom spawn business and in 1989 he started Nammex, a
business that introduced medicinal mushrooms to the US nutritional supplement industry. He
traveled extensively in China during the 1990’s, attending conferences and visiting research fa-
cilities and mushroom farms. In 1997 he organized the first organic mushroom production sem-
inar in China.
A founding member of the World Society for Mushroom Biology and Mushroom Products in 1994
and a Member of the International Society for Mushroom Science, Mr Chilton’s company was
the first to offer a complete line of Certified Organic mushroom extracts to the US nutritional
supplement industry. Nammex extracts are used by many supplement companies and are noted
for their high quality based on scientific analysis of the active compounds.

You guys, WE MADE IT TO 100 EPISODES! I'm so thankful for you! I never take for granted each "listen and download" of the podcast. Truly, you guys are my tribe. SO grateful for you.
In order to celebrate our 100 episodes, a giveaway is a must! RIGHT?! We're giving away ONE 6 session package with me! This is about 2-3 months working together! In this episode, we're talking about cancer prevention, which Kim talks about in her book 360 Health.
Kimberly Maravich's background as an RN led to her passion for preventative healthcare and nutrition. While pursuing a BA in English, her love of writing began. She also has an MA in Teaching and worked for more than 12 years as an elementary school teacher. She now combines her talents and enjoys educating and encouraging others to optimize their health through her writings.
She believes that self-care is the deepest form of love, as we can't fully care for others when we put ourselves last. Good nutrition, moderate exercise, and great sleep are the keys to physical health. Just as importantly, gratitude, prayer and spiritual practice, and friendships do wonders for overall wellness.
Kim lives outside of Pittsburgh, PA with her loving husband and two adorable little boys. Their home is filled with excitement, laughter, and much love.

We are so excited to have Jay Nixon on the podcast this week! We're talking about something a little bit deeper than the normal for weight loss. YES, there is so much more to weight loss than the perfect exercise program and a good nutrition plan. Those are really big parts of weight loss, but we're covering something that isn't talked about as much. What we're covering today....
I loved interviewing AJ Neste about this topic on hunting! I've always talked about how important it is to get GOOD quality animal products. Most of the meats you'll find in the store are factory farmed mass produced and super unhealthy. If you don't know a local farmer, hunting is a way you can take control of getting good quality wild animals.
Most of all, I love AJ's view on hunting and his compassion and gratefulness for each animal that feeds and nourishes his family. This is what we're covering in the podcast today:
Have you ever heard of techniques to prevent the use of braces? I haven't either until Dr. Carpenter told me about Dr. Medina who specializes in this, which is called myofunctional orthodontics. Since braces are almost always a part of every childhood it seems, I feel like this topic was a necessary one to talk about! What we're covering on the podcast today:
